Thank you for continuing to support my small business during this difficult time.

In order to comply with government request that non essential medical providers begin telehealth or cancel sessions starting 3/18/2020. I understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and these changes can negative impact your mental health. The use of telehealth sessions ensures that all clients will continue to receive services without interruption. Please make sure you are checking the patient portal and do not delete messages from “IntakeQ”; these emails give you the links to create an account and join your video session. Please email or use the secure portal with questions and concerns. Text messages may not be answered in a timely fashion due to increased communication from clients.

Regarding Teletherapy:

Telehealth sessions are an alternative to in-person sessions. They are a secure video chat (similar to FaceTime or Skype). Telehealth is HIPPA compliant. The service that I use does not require the download of any applications. You only need access to a PC, tablet, or smart phone. Currently, your normally scheduled appointment time will remain the same; however, I understand that many people are working from home and may want to change their appointment time. I will do my best to accommodate schedule changes.

Preparing for your session:

  • Sign the consent for teletherapy

  • Find a private area with internet connection (unless you plan to use your phone data)

  • Secure your laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone so that it stable throughout the session

  • Click on the link sent to your patient portal or email

  • Please make sure to give your device access to your camera and microphone to ensure I can see and hear you

  • Wait for me to connect to the session (Please be patient as I may be in a virtual session with another client)

  • Copays will be billed to the card on file or invoiced via email
